Nutrients For The Body And Mind

Why Are the B Vitamins So Important?

Stress plays a part in everyone’s life. When the body is under stress, it can lower the immune system, decrease circulation, and increase the risk of oxidation. Stress can cause fatigue, chronic headaches, irritability, changes in appetite, memory loss, low self-esteem, cold hands, high blood pressure, shallow breathing, nervous twitches, insomnia, and gastrointestinal disorders. Further, stress creates an excellent breeding ground for illness, and is a common precursor of psychological difficulties such as anxiety and depression. The body responds to stress with a series of physiological changes that include increased secretion of adrenaline, elevation of blood pressure, acceleration of the heartbeat, and greater tension in the muscles. Digestion slows or stops, fats and sugars are released from stores in the body, and cholesterol rises. Stress can lead to deficiencies of the B complex vitamins, which are very important to proper functioning of the nervous system, and for deficiencies of certain electrolytes which are depleted by the body’s stress response. The B vitamins are essential to the proper health of the nervous, circulatory, cardiovascular, digestive, and immune systems. They are also required in the metabolism or many amino acids, essential for the function of all cells, with emphasis upon bone marrow, nervous tissue, and the gastrointestinal tract.

Positive Results!

Positive results in the following areas have been observed in research and clinical studies:

better carbohydrate metabolism
better state of mind, mentality
more energy
improvement on neurological disorders
better immunity
better digestion

Are the B Vitamins All I Need?

Nutrients such as vitamin C, calcium, magnesium, adrenal substance, and valerian root extract have long been used for their calming effect on the body, and as such are a perfect addition to a supplement providing the B complex.

Since nutrients are synergistic we cannot ignore the importance of full spectrum nutrition in the optimal health of any individual. For specific nutrients to be absorbed, utilized and perform, we must supply our bodies with the 100 plus nutrients it needs on a daily basis. Anything less would be less than optimal, as would results.

We recommend: D-Stress™, Total Toddy™ or Ultra Body Toddy®, and Multi-EFA™.
