How do I get started on your products?
Most people choose to begin with a mix of products that provides the full spectrum of vitamins, major minerals, trace minerals and supportive nutrients. For example, Mineral Toddy™ and Total Toddy™ or Ultra Body Toddy®. After this basic program has been achieved, the user may wish to add extra nutrient products from our Super Nutrient® line to meet their own specific nutritional needs.

How much of the Toddy products do I take?
As a rule of thumb, take one ounce of the Toddy products per hundred pounds of body weight per day. Start more slowly if you are nutritionally compromised. If you're using one of the full spectrum Toddy products (Total Toddy™ or Ultra Body Toddy®) and Mineral Toddy™ too, you don't need more than about 1 ounce of Mineral Toddy™ daily.
The lone exception to the above has to do with OxyRich Aloe Vera Toddy™. Due to the vital nature of the product and the hydrogen peroxide it contains, you should begin modestly, with 1/2 ounce per day and work your way up to 2 ounces per day over a months time.

If you have any questions about taking a specific product - or if you are under a doctor's care - you might wish to consult your qualified health care provider regarding dosage and use.
When do I take it?
You may experience the best results by taking the particular Toddy product just before, during or after a meal in the a.m. and/or p.m. By so doing, you benefit from the stomach's activated digestive "juices" and can more quickly absorb the Toddy you take. Dividing your supplements between morning and afternoon meals, half a dose with each, will allow you to get maximum benefit from the water-soluble vitamins.
Don't mix mineral Mineral Toddy™ or Rainforest Toddy® with the others - you'll lose some of the bio-electrical benefit. We recommend taking these at dinnertime.
The one big exception is our OxyRich Aloe Vera Toddy™. This product must be taken on an empty stomach. Either first thing in the morning or last thing in the evening is best, and additional amounts can be taken at least 30 minutes before or 3 hours after a meal.
Do the products have to be refrigerated after opening?
Although we recommend that you keep the liquid products under refrigeration whenever possible, the only ones that need to be kept so are Total Toddy™ and Ultra Body Toddy®. The other liquid products do not require refrigeration (although taste is often improved by keeping them cold).
Our tableted formulations do not need refrigeration but should be kept in a cool place whenever possible. Frequently shipping liquid products during cold winter months will cause them to freeze during transit. This does not harm our formulations. Simply allow them to thaw at room temperature.
Do your products have any side effects? Are larger dosages toxic?
All of our products are nutritional supplements. The vast majority of individuals can take dietary supplements without any side effects whatsoever. However, some of our products do contain detoxifying nutrients that may cause the body to begin releasing stored toxins. While detoxification is a good thing, it may produce such temporary symptoms as diarrhea and fatigue. These symptoms will soon pass, or they may be greatly reduced by lowering the initial dosage then gradually increasing it to the original level over a few weeks.
On rare occasions, certain people may be allergic to one or more nutrients or herbs contained in a formula. If you are prone to food allergies, start slowly and as with any substance, discontinue use if you have an allergic reaction.
Further, if you are not accustomed to taking full spectrum dietary supplements or have a past history of sensitivities, you might wish to begin with the products slowly, building up to a recommended level over a period of time.
While the products simply consist of micronutrients found in food, more is not always better. We therefore recommend following the recommendations on each bottle unless otherwise directed by your health care practitioner.
All of the minerals in Mineral Toddy™ is plant-derived. Our liquid organic bio-electrical trace element products are in a natural organic form that may be used by the body without the risk of building up to potentially toxic levels. Studies indicate that trace amounts of minerals such as aluminum, arsenic, lead and so forth from plant sources are necessary for proper function of the body. Studies indicate that plant-derived aluminum may actually help the body remove the potentially harmful heavy metal form of this element.
Can I mix various products or take them separately?
You can take one or more liquid formulations together if you want although mixing Mineral Toddy™ or Rainforest Toddy® in the same glass as the other Toddy products may reduce the bio-electrical potential.. You may also take the liquid formulations -- especially Mineral Toddy™ -- with any of our Super Nutrient® products. Our tableted products are specifically designed to be used with organic bio-electrical trace minerals such as are found in Mineral Toddy™ and Rainforest Toddy®. The only exception would be OxyRich Aloe Vera Toddy™ which should always be taken alone undiluted, on an empty stomach. All of our other liquid products may be mixed with any fruit or vegetable juice of your choice.
Your Toddy products claim to be all natural. What does that mean?
Our Toddy products are natural. For this reason, the color, consistency and taste will vary from bottle to bottle. We do not add artificial colors and stabilizers to create a uniform appearance and taste because we believe this would reduce the bio-electrical potential.
The minerals added to our products are in chelated form when appropriate for greater bio-availability. Our fat-soluble vitamins are from natural sources because synthetic forms may be potentially harmful. We use a blend of natural and synthetic water-soluble vitamins to provide both natural energy and potency.
Are there any dangers combining these products with prescription medications?
Generally since our products contain nothing but natural nutrients, there is no interaction with most medications. However if you are currently under medical care for an on-going condition you should check with your physician before beginning any health building program that includes dietary changes or exercise.
How long will it take for me to actually feel a difference? Can your products improve, treat or cure certain illnesses?
As you might expect, this is a very difficult question to answer with any degree of accuracy. Everyone's body is so different, with varying stages of nutritional deficiencies. Even so, it is not uncommon for first time users to begin noticing benefits in as little as 1 to 3 weeks. One of the first things people often report is an increase in energy, and many people experience a greater number of benefits as time goes on.
As far as the effect on major illnesses, the law currently states that no health claims may be made for any nutritional product. It is our philosophy that only the body can heal -- but it can do so only when its basic nutritional needs are met on a daily basis. SupraLife provides a wide variety of full spectrum dietary supplements that offer to the body the 100 or so nutrients necessary for biochemical maintenance. When these nutrients are taken as directed on the bottle, the body is in a better position to regulate internal chemistry and heal itself.
What does the term 'Colloidal' mean?
'Colloidal' refers to the size of the particles of a particular substance. In the case of minerals, colloidal particles are of a size that they will neither float or sink in water. Due to their small size the surface area of these minerals is greatly increased, providing a larger area upon which enzyme activity may take place thus increasing breakdown and eventual absorption. Colloids also have further electro-chemical properties that make them unique. Any form of mineral may be reduced to the colloidal size...so it is important to also ensure that the mineral source is organic, yielding a bio-electrical charge. When discussing minerals, the size of the particle, the electrical charge and the pH of the substance must all be considered (a low or acidic pH is best).
Are your products safe to give to pets?
Yes, for the most part, you may give our liquid products - especially the Mineral Toddy™ - to pets. A good measure is 1/2 teaspoon per 20 pounds of the animal's body weight. The only specific restriction with regards to pets and Toddy products is in the case of dogs. Canines do not have the ability to break down oral oxygen due to a missing enzyme, so they should not be given OxyRich Aloe Vera Toddy™.
